Description
The first large monster of my original class; "The Ire Song Wyvern" Titanoth.

Titanoth are large Bastion wyverns that are characterized by their spiked armored arms and head. They are distantly related to the old world aptonoth, but share none of the placid behaviors of their distant cousins. Titanoth are well known for their incredibly aggressive behavior, shared by both sexes, and especially heightened in bull's during mating season, where they attack anything that even comes close to them, including other smaller herbivores. During this period males will trample whatever they see as a threat, or annoyance. Fishing boats and their fishermen are common casualties of these belligerent giants, as are traveling merchants as they go from village to village. Luckily Titanoth usually make their presence known before any sort of attack.

Titanoth herds usually consist of a dominant bull, and several females and their young. These are defended fiercely during mating season, as outside males will try to usurp the resident bull. These battles are usually settled quickly, with males sizing each other up, in a display of low guttural songs, and a good showing of their spiked arms. If this doesn't work, battles quickly descend into clashes of shell and spiked arm, and are to the death.

Full grown healthy adults are virtually immune to predation, although even healthy bulls must be careful near or when crossing deep water, as either Ulunagi, or a Lagiacrus can use the opportunity to attack. Ulunagi typically drag them out into deeper water and use their bladed head to disembowel the helpless animal. Lagiacrus can use their electricity to stun Titanoth, and drag them down so they drown. But being good swimmers, even these 2 apex predators have to be careful, especially when Titanoth are accompanied by other members of the herd. Another chief predator of all age classes are Wroggi packs. Wroggi take full advantage of their venomous spit to cripple Titanoth, as due to their extensive sound chambers in their crest, they are particularly susceptible to the venom.

When not in a mating season rut, males are usually peaceful with other herbivores, as they typically browse trees, eating the leaves, flowers, and fruit, with minimal competition to this lifestyle, although outside of the swamp, they must contend with many other browsers, so they have been seen being more generalist in their diet.

Titanoth are hunted for their meat, which unsurprisingly is very similar to aptonoth meat, albeit tougher. This is usually done in the height of mating season when bulls are more easily exhausted due to previous fights. Females with young are not targeted during this time, as incurring the ire of her entire herd has once led to a village being massacred by the enraged giants.

Their crest is hollow, but strong, this is very readily used in communication between members of a herd, or long distance communication between different herds and individuals. Herds in different locales have been observed with different songs to those of other Titanoth herds. Songs are used by males during both courtship, and battle, with some specific songs having been seen to relieve fatigue off of males, and even enhancing them, using the song as a tell to flood their system with adrenaline; This song is what gives them the name " The Ire Song Wyvern".

-Titanoth is based on, obviously, Aptonoth, and hadrosaurs like Lambeosaurus and Olorotitan, but also Iguanodonts.
