Description
The request I did forShe wanted Kurt Wagner alias Nightcrawler, known from the pages of the X-Men-Comics and the second movie
He can teleport and has this devil-like appearence though heΒ΄s perhaps the friendliest and one of the most peaceful characters in all Marvel Comics. And heΒ΄s very religious (catholic) which may seem a little ironic looking at his features
I colored him in Photoshop and also added some effects for the background that really fit his "BAMF!"-teleport
Nightcrawler is (c) to Marvel Comics

Kurt has always been my favorite. I love his sweet personality compared to his rather intimidating appearance (though I always thought he was cute. I mean, he's blue and fuzzy. What more could a girl ask for??)

Great job! You did him oldschool with the deep shadows around his eyes, almost like a mask. Most artists forget that little detail (guilty!) Sometimes I wish the x-men didn't revolve so much around woverine, Nightcrawler is the soul of the x-men.

Thank you! Yeah, he, Colossus, Shadowcat, Storm and Wolverine. They are a bunch of good friends who work perfect together as a team, too.

That was probably the best lineup of x-men. Certainly the lineup that got me interested in them!

I started in the early 90Β΄s, but read the German translations of the late 70Β΄s comics at my uncleΒ΄s. I was fire-and-flame for them. Especially the Phoenix-Saga and the early years of Kitty Pryde were really interesting and inspiring to read.

Same here! I started in the early 90's as well. My cousin had a large collection for 80's stuff so I read a lot of his stuff. Also, my best friend has a large collection of old comics.

Everyone should have friends with large comic-collections! Better, have a large collection oneself

Love your take on Mr Wagner there! Reminds me of the classic nightcrawler i grew up on! The pose suits the character really well and so does the lighting/shadows.
Good job!

Thanks! I like Kurt (most of the X-Men ) in the "old days" of the 70Β΄s and 80Β΄s Comics. These were so much "warmer" and funnier.

My favourite X-Men is Wolverine, I guess, but closely followed by Kurt, Kitty, Phoenix and Ororo. Oh, and Rogue.
DasTenna... Well, I once thought it to be funny using a "japanese"-like pseudonym, which was "Himeko Tennomon" Dumb name, much too long, and only really used in my first "Tales from Talnia"-comics (I deleted the pseudonym there when working on the pages in Photoshop
)
And one of those Comics appeared in a short-living magazine called "Dojinshi-Star", where they typed it wrong "Tennamon" instead of "Tennomon", and after I saw the funny Pseudonym of another drawer in this magazine (who used the pseudonym "das Neflem" those days ^^), and read the "Tenna" of the "Tennamon", I decided to change it. "Das" means "The" (used for grammaticaly "neutral" objects)...
Loooooooooong and coonfusing story, you see...
Hey, you still awake? *shakeshimawake*

Danke ^^ Schatten sind normal bei Kurt, vor allem in den Γ€lteren Comics. Da hatten sich die Macher ne Menge blauer Farbe gespart
