Wow... When asked me to color artwork, I don't think it hit him what he was asking me to do. Fred Perry is one of those artists who I count among my inspirations. Back before manga was commonplace, when I was looking for an alternative to spandex-filled comics, I usually reached for books like Ninja High School and Gold Digger. Not just for the amazing artwork, but the sheer fun and zaniness of their stories.

Coloring this piece of art wasn't just it fun, it was sort of an honor.
