Ah. Nothing to establish how the scientists' felt about their clones than to say they referred to them as 'it'. Yikes.
...Well, I guess that now it's just a matter of letting adorible lil' V figure out what pronouns suit them best.

- How did you escape?
- Are we just gonna stay in a cave or are we going to do something with our lives?
- why are they trying to clone us in the first place?
- Who’s really behind all of this?
- What are we really?
- What’s our purpose in life?
- Did my caretaker also look after you? If thay was the case, was his affection really ever genuine?
- will we ever go back to the lab to stop them from making even more mewtwos?
- If mewtwo prime is not here, what is he doing? What is he up to?
and about a million other questions the audience is probably really wondering. But instead;
Are you a boy or a girl?

I have nothing to add after what everyone else has said except that Mewtwo did ask V a lot of questions before and it didn't go well

I was hoping to hear from you personally, rather than your followers. You misunderstood what I am asking either way.
The list of plot points I made was to show what I presume your general audience is waiting for and what we'd expect these characters to be wondering. Instead, the thing the character asks seems so immersion-breaking and trivial it makes me question the priorities of the story altogether.
This chapter so far pretty much boils down to the main characters larping around the forest crying to themselves. And apart from Mewtwo 3 showing up and a minor interaction with other pokemon people, there has been little further development or a goal for the characters to strive for. And compared to the strong start of this comic as well as the action-packed climax of that chapter, this part is going at a snail's pace.
Maybe I should be more patient and you'll prove me wrong in just a few pages. But I have been on this boat from the start and I'm wondering; "Captain, where are we actually going?"

Well these are a couple of inexperienced kids who have no idea what they're doing, so it makes sense to me that there's going to be wandering around. They're lost and a little scared, just trying to live one day at a time. So things are going a little slow because everyone is currently taking it a little slow. Things aren't going to be action action action all the time. You need to wind up for the punch to make it have a bigger impact. So yeah, I'm going to have to ask you to wait a few more pages before things start heating up again.

I feel like the baby would burst into tears if he was grilled like that, considering how scared he was about even asking for a name.

The other questions seem dehumanizing, I think M2-K is being more considerate with this approach and trying to get to know them better before digging right into the probably traumatizing experiences this kid went through.
