Here's a $6,50 "New Year's Sale" commissioned drawing for:

Poor Ben... It appears that even an anthropomorphic fish wielding a powerful trident isn't immune towards an powered artifact tending to hide rather amusing capabilities. Having swam to a close-by empty shore of a small island for doing a standard practice round with his weapon, Ben eventually attempted a spell to grasp a tidal wave of water at once and shift it around in the air. Initially succeeding with waving dozen barrels worth of liquid in the air, things took an unusual predicament as Ben's attempt to finish the maneuver brought a streak of water waving like a snake all above him before finding a rapid streak of water aiming towards his mouth: confused guardian unable to do but mumble as volumes of water brings his somewhat slim yet stocky form into ever rounder and rounder container for the element he's meant to be in control of.

Alas, here we are with a Tidal Guardian turned water-balloon wobbling in place on the sands of a small island. Might be a real while until he's capable of getting out of this blunder...

Starting a new year in a big way, huh? .o .

Can't say that I'm surprised that my decision to allow commissions once again has produced great results for getting my end-of-year frost completely thawed out and ready to go: especially after receiving kind of fun premise provided by Benway101 who approached me with an idea to bring their fish-character into a rather hydrated state. While the character wasn't as typical in build as to my usual output (which I agree is seen in the commissioned work as well), I cannot deny that having a go with non-Mobian character after a while did give a neat refresh for the pace, especially with the quite polite and inquiring personality shown by the person who had commissioned this piece.

Needless to say, I am happy to provide you with this piece for you fella: gotta keep an eye out for what more things you'll manage to create with this quite fun character
