over the desert area near Kestrana. The red haired boy had been traveling for
some years with a tribe of nomads – but not as one of them but as slave. Sold to them
by the tribe he had grown up at, but this chapter would soon end. He was planning to
flee, but not on his own but on the back of their fastest horse. Without having anyone
notice, he put on her bridle and silently maneuvered the mare away from the tents.
Fortune was on his side, but he was sure they would notice their absence soon enough.
With a snorting noise he looked over his shoulder, back at the tiny tents in the far.
Wondering if they would notice the Jibita's absence before his pff those nomads loved
their horses for sure. Hoping he would have enough time to disappear into nowhere,
knowing they would try hunt him down and the punishment would be unforgettable.
Aeryn adjusted the hood, pulled it closer into his face and pushed the mare forward
to bring some more distance between him and the tents. Every step was a step towards
freedom, a step into the unknown.
