OH. NOW I REMEMBER WHY I REDREW ALL OF THEM. Because I was practicing body types! And I wanted each matoran to be different! (*woooo*)

Top Row: Hafu, Onepu, Nuparu

Bottom Row: Tamaru, Kapura, Nixie

Nuparu was my favorite to draw, because I just imagine him being this really cuddly guy who loves kittens, but is this really massive, muscular dude.

I think, one of the hardest things I had to overcome while doing redesigns was coming to terms with the fact that the matoran aren't kids, even though their actual bodies are physically smaller than the Toa. So when I did the redesigns, I ended up making a height chart to line them up against some of the Toa. To my surprise, some of them are the same heights (or taller than some). I think... Tamaru is like, the shortest out of all of them. He's a teeny little dude c:
