PREGAME
A place for everything and everything in its place. Ash's days are regimented by her own design; she keeps herself occupied, contributing to the cause however possible. Familial upheaval has caused her to crave stability and structure. In the time since Lugh's exile, she's become determined to fill the hole her traitorous brother left in his wake. Dedicated herself to the path of a model Stonehaven wolf to repay the family that has given her so much for what he took away. A provider by nature, her nephew's premature end has motivated her to learn the mountain cliffs and passages in the hopes of preventing such a tragedy from occuring again.

The dark wolf has little faith their feeble sister packs and her hatred for the Kol runs deep. Unwelcoming if not outright aggressive towards outsiders, she is markedly more cordial among friends. Far as Aisling's concerned the entirety of Stonehaven is family until proven otherwise. Her inner circle is very small and she is fiercely loyal to it. Offenses against them are slights to herself and to her home; attacks that she does not take lying down. Forgiveness isn't beneath her but she's unlikely to look at them the same way. Her confidence, once lost, is hard to win back.

Stonehaven has always been Aisling's home. Her story began there; one of two in a litter that would continue the new pack's legacy. Reared in the company of doting parents and loving elder siblings, she wanted for nothing. She befriended others her age, including July and June who would become close as blood. The pup had structure, a support system, and a bright future ahead of her. Unbeknownst to the wolfling, her mother was deathly ill—a complication caused by a less than ideal birth. She slipped away late in the night, and from there, Ash's world began to fracture.

Her father wasn't long for the living world without his mate, leaving their little ones behind. Taken in by a sister expecting her own brood, the eager adolescent did what she could to help prepare for the newborns. Be it bad blood or poor luck, there was a single survivor—a weak runt named Ruairi. She loved him like a littermate, assisting his mother when she wasn't performing work as a null. But brother hadn't adjusted as effectively to their new circumstances; he had a wanderlust, a restlessness she could never place. And she knew that; for a time she'd accepted it. Yet when her nephew fell to his death due to Lugh's carelessness, even she couldn't find it in herself to forgive him.

He was exiled and she chose not to follow. Her love for Lugh a distant memory; excised from her heart as he was from her life. She's since begun seeking a tradewolf willing to teach her the pathfinder task. Intent to do right by Ruairi, and by her older sister who's passed on to join her son.
