This drawing represents the past five or six or so years of my life. It was the darkest point of my life. I am still severely in a dark place, but am sort of improving and have learned a lot.
For the past six or so years, FNAF has been the only coping mechanism that I've had to lean on. I clung deeply to it as I've lost my family, my friends, and even just my peers in general(COVID). It's caused me to cling to FNAF for comfort as I first bonded with those people over it, and it was all I had when they were gone. This drawing sort of represents that; the hands floating away, and I'm stuck down here, with FNAF. "Don't you dare forget the sun" - FNAF was/is my sun!
Everyone is sorta confused by why I'm so obsessed with FNAF, and some even get annoyed by it. I don't really like explaining why unless it's with close friends, but I've decided to explain it here with this art piece because I've bottled it up for so long and just need an outlet to blurt it somewhere. I know complete strangers aren't really here for my PTSD origins,, so it's alright if this is ignored ^^.
I hope to bring more art without the trauma-dumping shazam. If you did read this, thank ya.
