I tried using the greyscale + overlay approach when coloring this and I must say I'm pretty happy with the results. However, not happy with how long it took meAround 4-5 hours. Photoshop

I've been trying to get into that mode of coloring lately, but the bold lineart habit is dying hard.

Check out the ctrl+paint site I linked you in another comment. It may help if you have a wacom tablet + PS
I'm trying to stray away from that bold line art coloring style as well, which I'm finding difficult.
Just need to keep practicing!

I really hope so! I'm always trying to improve whenever I can get the free time. Granted, I don't think bold line art is always a bad thing except that I got stuck on it.

It actually is! The owner of the character wanted me to give him Draven's armor from the Soul reaver skin.
I don't play League of Legends myself, but it sure made for a fun paint!
