I just love this; the detail is amazing.
It looks like a tile floor that's older - either cracked or a marble-like texture. Even the curvature of his lantern, the light pattern on the floor is great. There's something so deadly about him with hiding in the shadows with his knife (which too has the reflection of the lamp that adds to the overall detail) great job!

Sorry for the late reply, but thanks for your thoughts! I always loved these little guys, so I gave this guy some love- Hopefully I can get around to drawing him again, with better perspective, color, form, and pretty much everything, but time always tells!

Tonberries are great, and this is an excellent pic of one. I really like what you did here with the lighting; it gives me the impression it's off in the dark somewhere by itself. Into my favorites it goes!

Remember what they used to call Tonberries in FF6? 'Pugs'. t_t Good run in deciding to liven up the name. Anyway ^^ Very nice drawing here, I like it.

Just a little nitpick, maybe the perspective of the ground and the creature is a little too different... But thats no big deal.

i dont know whether ive seen this before on the main DA page or i just know the creature from final fantasy tactics advance. anywhoo, the lighting is very well done, especially as its done in pencils

I really like the pencil strokes in this, it's rare to see a well-done real media piece in the Game category. I can't find much wrong with it, except for the fact that the plane he's on (the floor) looks a bit off in reference to his feet/where he's grounded. I really love the rest of it though; the lighting's very nice.

The background was a complete and total afterthought, actually made when I had gone halfway through coloring the damned thing
