♥ Level-headed +/- Even in the roughest situations, Lightningstrike always keeps calm. Overreacting is something he highly dislikes, so he does his best to never do it. However, this has led to him bottling up his emotions from time to time.
♥ Analytical +/- Definitely one to stick to the facts, he uses them more than anything when it comes to desicions and isn't easily swayed by others input or emotions.
♥ Romantic + Absolutely hopeless, his idea of love is exceedingly cheesy. He's refuses to claim that he's 'flirty', (he's too ~selective~ about that) but it isn't uncommon to find him completing a cat more than necessary.
♥ Loyal + Maybe it was because of his dumb friend, or maybe it was because he actually liked the Clan, but Lightningstrike decided long ago that he'd never leave. He'd fight for his home, and his Clanmates with it.
♥ Bitter - If you ever wrong him, Lightning will hold a grudge for a pretty long time. He's not always quick to accept apologies either, but they certainly help.
♥ Over-working - Not only with himself, but also with others, Lightning always expects the best. That's all he wants to give and all he wants to receive. He often over-works himself to make things perfect, and upsets others when he isn't pleased with their results.

H I S T O R Y
Kithood || Born to a rouge, Spike didn't have much going for him in life. He spent most of his days wandering around behind his father, doing his best to learn what he could. His family was relatively close, and his parents actually loved each other very much. Unfortunetly, Spike was seperated from his family when he was 7 moons old and somehow ended up wandering into ThunderClan territory.
Apprenticeship || Named after his spikey fur and yellow coloration, Lightningpaw seemed to sneak right into Clan life like he'd always been around. He stuck close to Thornpaw at the time, learning the ways of the warrior from his loud friend. The two became pretty close, but not overly so. It was more of a shoulder-to-lean-on relationship, where convienence outweighed everything else. He always did his best during training, and was able to become a warrior at the same time as Thornpatch.
Warrior Life || Through the battles, Lightningstrike has stayed loyal to ThunderClan, though once or twice he did question whether he should've joined at all, especially once his friend left for the mountains. He's learned to observe things from a distance, and accidentally comes off as antisocial because of this. While he may not be one to approach a cat on his own, he's never been known to turn down any conversations that seek him out. He tends to quietly toil away in the background to complete his tasks early and have free time later.

Lightningstrike padded happily back into ThunderClan camp. His hunting patrol had gone well, and even his apprentice had come back with something. After depositing a squirrel on the fresh kill pile, the yellow tom plopped himself down outside of the Warriors den to rest and bask in the sun. Noticing Brightspeckle was still in camp, Lightningstrike called her over to talk to.

Brightspeckle was trying very hard not to laugh at the cat tangled in long fern leaves, but great starclan was it funny! The creamy speckled she-cat was helping the unfortunate feline unwrap the clingy leaves from their pelt with noted effort to keep her face straight. As soon as her counterpart was freed, she tucked the fern leaves away where no cat would be bothered by them and padded toward the freshkill pile.
Only moments into her new destination, Brightspeckle's ears swiveled around to the sound of her name being called and the pretty long haired she-cat turned her head to see Lightningstrike calling her over. The speckled warrior altered her path, turning to head toward the golden tabby tom that had called her name. Once there, she purred a gentle hello. "Hello, Lightningstrike. You called?"

"That I did." The tom replied, "Entertain me for a bit? Sitting alone is pretty boring after a while and Falconstrike said you make a good conversationalist." Making a sweeping motion with his tail, Lightningstrike cleared a spot next to him for the she-cat to sit. "Unless you were busy with getting some prey. I just caught a squirrel you know, so that's what I'd go for. It was pretty big if I do say so myself."

Brightspeckle smiled brightly, making herself comfortable beside him. "Well, i'm happy that Falconstrike thinks so highly of me." She purred, the white freckles on her face making her smile surprisingly childish and innocent. "No, no. I'm not busy. I wasn't very hungry, just heading to check the pile in my boredom. I was done with my patrol and had nothing to do until you called me over." She explained, fluffy tail swaying in happiness behind her. The fluffy she-cat purred playfully at his last comment. "I'm sure it was, Lightningstrike. You're not a small cat, so taking large prey would be easy for you."

Flicking his tail tip happily, Lightningstrike held his head a little higher as he soaked up the praise. Why would you help his ego like this? "I am a slightly larger cat, aren't I? The average warrior just can't catch the same prey I can. I'll make sure you to catch you a monstrous rabbit next time I go out." The spikey tom let out a purr, enjoying the company of his clanmate. Brightspeckle had certainly become a happy acquaintance over the moons. Then again, any cat that gave him a compliment seemed to be a happy acquaintance.

Brightspeckle had come to enjoy her conversations with Falconstrike and, while she hadn't said more than a few words to him until now, Lightning strike had always seemed pleasant and happy. "I look forward to it!" She replied with a kind purr, making herself comfortable beside the golden tabby tom. "I'm afraid I'd never be able to finish such large prey, though! Maybe you and Falconstrike could share it with me when you do catch it.
