B I O
  Born and raised in the Team Rocket labs, Tseng is the byproduct of scientists attempting to combine psychic and dark typing artificially. It's assumed that his forehead gem came from the bit of espeon DNA injected into his egg. After hatching, Tseng was raised in the labs for a short time as standard procedure before being moved into official recruit training for all Team Rocket Pokemon. While his typing was a success, his psychic abilities were still weak while he was a Poochyena, and he often practiced to try and fix this. Tseng inherited a very no-nonsense attitude from his logical caretakers, and always preferred to take an analytical approach to things. He even picked up a bit of scientific jargon from stolen glances at lab reports.
During his time as a recruit Tseng served under General Xack, a fiery Raichu who pushed the pokemon to their limits. As he grew, Tseng's psychic abilities grew as well and soon there were as strong and stable as any pure bred psychic Pokemon. With his newly strengthened abilities, Tseng soon began to win many battles and climb up the ranks in the Hideout. He evolved into a Mightyena and became one of the Commanders serving directly under the General. When the time came for Xack's retirement, Tseng was chosen to take over as the new General of the Hideout. He was honored to be chosen, and vowed to take the Hideout to new heights never seen before in Team Rocket history!
He had appointed his own team of Commanders and quickly set to work changing the Hideout to better fit his own image. It was only a few months after he had taken the role of General that the Hideout was attacked. Team Galactic was doing their best to try and push the Team Rocket branch out of the Sinnoh region, and Tseng was horribly injured during their initial attack. Without him to lead, the Hideout quickly fell into chaos and the battle lasted for weeks with the Hideout just barely surviving the assault. When the dust settled it became clear that many pokemon had abandoned the Hideout during the fight, choosing the flee instead of stand and fight. Most shocking of all was the absence of his own Commanders. While he had chosen them all in good faith, it was only Commander Grace that stayed loyal to the Hideout in times of hardship.
  The two Diamond Ranks carried a heavy burden of repairing the damage done to the Hideout and leading the recruits as a much smaller force than before. Luckily Team Rocket heard of their need for assistance, and sent over two new Commanders to help fill the holes in the chain of command. They've been happily accepted by most of the Hideout, though some are still suspicious of newcomers, even if they wear Rocket Red.

Tseng currently runs the Hideout with an iron paw. His no nonsense attitude intimidates many new recruits, and his strong battle skills make for a dominating force to be reckoned with. Occasionally General Tseng may be found in the Bronze Rank barracks to survey new recruits, but most often he can be found in his office going over mission reports or meeting with his Commanders.
