Oh gosh you have no idea how much I appreciate that this isn't Sherlock throwing rose petals in the air and serenading John. NO IDEA. This [making tea], for them, is even better than all that romantic nonsense because I hate to think of them as some sort of lovey-dovey, "let's kiss in from of all of Scotland Yard and tell them we're getting married" sort of couple.

Study, I think. There's a part where Moffat and Gatiss are talking about Sherlock's and John's relationship and at one point they say something about how Sherlock's way of expressing affection is making a cup of tea without being asked.
