Description
This is for my friend Hallor on Tumblr! (*SirLemoncurd here!) She requested Sherlock as Slytherin. <333 I added John as a Gryffindor.I also ADORE him as a Slytherin! I have so many reasons why I'd place him in that house but I don't want to totally bore you guys.

Anyways. SOME of you will disagree and that is cool! To each their own. But nothing will change my mind.
Anyways, I can see Sherlock hating most of his house because they are such idiots and John playing Quiddich and Sherlock dragging him off for adventures and John loving it of course.
Anyways, I ramble!
PS: No need to comment if you just disagree with my house placement.

I agree that Sherlock would be in Slytherin and John in Griffindor. Sherlock couldn't be in ravenclaw because he may be smart, but he's not in other ways, for example he didn't know the earth went around the sun. Slytherin's are also very clever, and Sherlock doesn't really care for other's feelings. Also don't forget Sherlock and Moriarty are 'each other'. John watson does belong in Griffindor because he's very brave, he went to war and is still fighting along sherlock's side against Moriarty and others.

I totes agree with the house placings. Originally, i thought of john as a hufflepuff, but if you think about just how brave he is, griffindor is perfect.
And i love your art, its so good! i wish i could draw as well.

I totally agree with the choice of houses, I know some place Sherlock in Ravenclaw, but in my view that fit Mycroft more, he is the know-it-all and while interested in power that is something Ravenclaws and Slytherins have in common in several indivuduals, so this is perfect.
also I love how you draw them both, but mostly Sherlock, he looks so cunning and... erhm... sexy x3

I love this, Sherlock makes perfect sense for Slytherin. I never understood the notion that all bad guys must end up in slytherin, and all good guys in Gyriffindor – cleverness and courage are not opposites, or definitive of a villain or hero. /rant over/

I also agree with Sherlock being a Slytherin--he might is as smart as a Ravenclaw (probably able to outsmart them all), but if you take his character into account, he'd get into Slytherin for sure~
(If we look at Hermione, her character also got considered more as she'd be in Ravenclaw otherwise.)
However, you did a great job with the image, it sure makes one smile!

I can really see Sherlock as a Slytherin (traits, according to the HP Wikia, include intelligence, leadership skills, determination, cunning, etc.), and the only other house that would come close to fitting him is Ravenclaw, but, can you imagine him around some of the Ravenclaws? I mean, imagine if he met Luna! Then there's Flitwick as the Head of House to deal with, who falls off books when he's excited.

I agree. Sherlock is what a true Slytherin is. What they should have been and what I wished we had seen more of. I mean, besides from Snape, the rest were idiots. And for being such idiots, the lot of them, Sherlock would have no time for them and disregard their beliefs that anyone who isn't them are dirt.
I love that you have John in Gryffindor. The two house who hate each other the most, have two people in each with one of the strongest friendship in the history of literature. It's awesome! I love it! I think you put them in exactly the right house for both their personalities and their friendship. Polar opposites but still the best of friends. Brilliant!
