Technically, Alphys is bi. Plus, she has a wandering heart (which must be twice as difficult to control when you're bi). Undyne is wired the opposite way - built for duty and commitment. Not to sound cynical, but I could totally see the two of them experiencing conflict due to this and it would make for some good comic dubs or animations. The irony would be that Alphys, typically the vulnerable one, would be the one hurting Undyne due to her struggling with that wandering heart of hers.
