Tiger didn't always like Prince. In fact he originally hated him. He thought he was a good for nothing rookie that was invading his turf. He was a champion in the cat fighting ring, and didn't want some posh rich kit taking that from him. He became jealous as Prince became more skilled in fighting and was afraid of being replaced by him. He had been replaced before, by his previous owner and he used to belong to a wealthy family as well. He was taught to speak also and was a show cat. He was replaced after his owner found a "prettier" cat. He was thrown into the street where he was later taken in by Lionel. He was so crushed by his replacement, that he vowed to not let it happen again. Even if he disliked Lionel, he gave him a name and recognition and made him a champ; that was all that mattered. But, he was unaware of how he got to being his champion. Little did he know that the reason he was always given food before fights was because they were laced with drugs that made him aggressive. He just thought that eating gave him the strength he needed.

One day Lionel wanted to test Prince's strength, so he set up a practice fight between him and Tiger. It was here that Tiger realized the power that Prince had and he began to feel differently for him. He began to admire his fighting style and his skill and wished to fight him more. He started to gain a liking towards Prince, one he could not understand. He became nicer to Prince and the 2 became friends. He even gave him pointers on fighting so he wouldn't lose anything. The 2 found a way how to sneak out of the cell they were kept in at night, and would spar with each other in the boiler room of the warehouse. Tiger started to become braver as he learned to understand Prince more and decided to reveal his crush on him that he had been hiding. After this, Prince reveals his feelings for Tiger. Together they eventually team up and take down Lionel and escape his fighting ring for good, but not without some loss. Tiger loses his eyes in his final fight that he is forced into which leads to Prince making the decision that together they will break free. Once free, they eventually meet a nice human who adopts them and they live a now peaceful life. (I will draw another picture of him without his eyes later.)
