Description
I found a small to medium size & quality Star Wars (Lucasfilm) publicity still & using all the tricks I have learned enlarged it before adding a new background & effects to get a reasonable 16:9 wallpaper.As always my customizations are intended as fun & and are not intended as commercial products.

After seeing all the cool work of yours, may I ask you which software you're using to enlarge pictures? You do miracle work there...

I use paintshop Pro X6 with NIK Color Efex 3 plug in, I find it easier to use than photoshop & it is substantially cheaper. I have learned if you increase the DPI (I use 1000) & Bicubic resampling that cuts down on the pixelation then Jpeg artefact removal; often I have to sharpen & clarify as well. I also find adding noise to match any new additional image components to the original helps in several ways such as making gradients smoother and more natural & of course making it hard to tell the new from the old.
