Excellent classic rope work securing Louise and a great worried / mortified facial expression over the very effective gag
Really like how the Dark Spectre is shown to be completely concentrating on her safe cracking task - eyes closed listening for the tumblers to click ( creates a nicely old Golden Age / Classic / retro feel) and is paying no attention her captive - as if she knows Louise represents no threat and can be safely ignored I suspect that on top of everything else ( being one powered and trussed up and forced to helplessly watch a robbery ) the heroine must find this bit of dis respect truly galling
I wonder / speculate on the back story to this image

Is the Dark Spectre robbing her
Has the blonde Phantom been tracking the villainess hoping to catch her in the act of a robbery and having been over whelmed is now forced to be a witness
Has Louise been hired to work as security at a high society party /( costume) Gala , confronted the criminal in a upstairs room and having lost the confrontation is now a helpless captive as the party continues on on the ground floor In any case

Well it's not Louise's home. Dark Spectre doesn't know who the Blonde Phantom really is. Basically the Phantom did track the Spectre to the victim's home. (Who may or may not be a client of Mark Mason) She gets clubbed from behind and wakes up bound and gagged. The hunter captured by the prey. I really didn't have a back story for this. It was basically a homage to those classic Detective Magazine covers that often showed a pretty girl tied up. One does wonder though what will happen after the Dark Spectre gets what she's after. (Money? Jewels? Important papers? Blackmail photos?) Will she kill Louise and leave her body there to be found by the victim? Or leave her there alive and humiliated when the victim finds her tied up in his or her bedroom? (Because Dark Spectre enjoys the game of cat and mouse.)

I do like how the image seems to channel the old True Detective magazine covers
I was thinking the victim might by a client of Mark Mason
As to the contents of the safe ( if this scene is set in the World War Two era - in Washington D C ) I am thinking those contents might be important Gov't documents As to the fate of Louise
I would very much prefer that the Dark Spectre leaves her adversary alive to be humiliated / embarrassed when the target of the theft returns home to discover the heroine bound and gagged in his / her bedroom I like that the villianess enjoys the cat and mouse game
