Description
It always kinda bugged me that the "primitive" Daleks in the epic Tom Baker story Genesis of the Daleks looked no different to their appearances in the first two Jon Pertwee serials they starred in: midsection slats for generating electricity (or operating as solar panels) and dark grey/black colour scheme. So, my personal take would have been to leave the props in the same silver/black scheme as Death to the Daleks the season before, since it looks very reminiscent of the silver/blue scheme of the 1960s. Unbolt the slats and add a power receiver dish a la The Dalek Invasion of Earth. Job's a good un.Originals c/o TheDoctorWhoSite

Nice work. I like this.
I have always found it annoying that they didn't use silver instead of grey Daleks in "Genesis". However, I am told that at the time there was no concept of 'continuity' at the BBC, and the director personally chose grey because he preferred it, so the Dalek props that were still silver from "Death to the Daleks" were all repainted grey. Ho hum!
