Though Dave might not be figuring this out for a while. Karkat is probably to scared to tell him out of fear that he just might subconciously be trying to push him into all his quadrents like he did with Terezi so he figures that it is best to not risk ruining their romance and just stay where he is at least guarenteed a stable relationship with him.
