You can bet it's for the expression. I mean, Gonzo is launching himself with a rocket INDOORS! But hey, he's weird ya know.

Is there any reason for making this, or is it just for your own entertainment? Either way, you manage to get the most organic lines with the stiffest looking characters!

Maybe if the Muppets have a magazine, you can show it to them.

Dude, they should commission you to do Muppet comics. That's the first time since Jim's death that I've seen genuine Henson-style humor.

LAMO!!!!!!!!!! Love it to atoms, Dave! Believe it or not, you're not the first guy who drew Muppet Comics - Guy Gilchrist, famous for "Mudpie" and "Nancy" also had a whirl with them too. But you done good - LURVE how you drew Gonzo as well!

I know. He did it in 1981. I used to cut out every strip out of the newspaper and pasted it in a scrapbook.
I came up with this after visiting his page the other day.
Thanks!

Just... hilarious. I laughed my ass off just now! Very expressive and.. and... agh, I can't comment that well, btu I sure loved both of these muppet comics and definetly wouldn't mind seeing more. XD
And you were a puppeteer? That sounds so cool... What was it like? You made me curious. : 0

Thanks. I used to be a puppeteer and had my own show in Telemundo. It was cancelled because it was too expensive.

Gonzo just keeps getting weirder and weirder. But hey, you gotta love him anyway. VERY nice work. They all look so good as animated cartoons.

Gonzo is a mutant -but not X-Men material.
There was one act which involved a cow, a flaming tire and I don't know what else. What Gonzo was attempting we have NO idea. Why ? The tough audience egged him off the stage ! This was on an episode where the Muppets had to deal with a tough audience that made short work of any act -except the guest star.
I have most of the episodes taped -except one where channel 2 cut the punch line out for extra commercials !(People and objects were teleporting in & out -because Dr.Bunsen Honeydew was fooling around with a teleporter !)

Don't forget, the cow was replacing a typewriter, which is even weirder.

Hee hee, what would we do without the crazy Gonzo? I love the way you draw Kermit's annoyed expression. Nice job!
