The gag was that Fozzie was doing his act on stage, and Kermit comes out and accidentally slips on Fozzie's banana peel. Simple as that.

I like this Muppets tribute. I LOVED Kermit when he was flailing around in frustration after getting zinged or during a slapstick moment kind of like this one. Fozzie bombing on stage was also funny.
