For a redesign, it reminds me an awful lot of the classic Tex Avery/Bob Clampett designs...though I'd definitely say you've enhanced them somewhat. Great job!

Really cool work Dave! Just following the movement of the mouth, it seems that he is saying "Ehhh I'm I a stinker" or at least that is what it look like to me. Anyway great work!
