So Donald's alter-ego's name is Paperinik? How weird. In Poland his name is "SuperkwΔk" (which would sound similar to "Superquack").

In America, I've seen him be called "Duck Avenger" and "PK". It's like Donald can't pick a superhero name and stick with it.

Point is, the character is Italian and his name derives from "Paperino", Donald's Italian name, mixed with other action heroes that were in when the character was created (which I think was the Sixties), namely Diabolik. But in other languages the wordplay doesn't make sense, it actually needs some thought in Italian too >.>
