This year's American Civil War Reenactment was a great event. The weekend was PERFECT. Cool fall temperatures and sunny so had some good lighting for the battle. Would have been nice to have the sun more behind me tho during a noon hour instead of slightly west when I'm looking a bit west But still it was a great time. I'll have some more pictures from the event up here soon enough but wanted to give a taste for people to check out what they missed in Minooka, IL this year. [link] is the hosting site of the event. The Civil Ware reenactment usually is performed the 2nd full weekend of October, so for future reference make plans for it. Its an event you shouldn't miss. Great education for students in school who are just learning about the war.
