Description
Not to long ago, I was looked down upon for making my own formulas instead of learning to use what is already there for the benefit of the community. This fractal you see here is 6 layers with no outsides. It was produced using a formula I made based on the tent formula. This single formula can create many different types of fractals. I will be posting more as they are produced/rendered. I will post the formula after I figure out how to decrease the render time on gnarls. XDΒEdit: Thank you for all of the amazing comments and for this DD. As promised, please check your public formulas and look for dpb. This fractal was created usingΒ General-tent-julia-Sp. I did not find a way to decrease render time. I am sorry.

Gorgeous! Dynamic and evokes a feeling of turbulence... and something dark. =] Absolutely love!

Would love to, but way to small. Already covered all free space. (I got too many hobbies...)

You can decrease render time of gnarls using this technique. Replace sin() with Cheby polynome after a roundint...

You can also use more accurate expansions - 10^-6 precision is practically exact and fast. (At least in Mb3D )

I will try this. Thank you for the information. Β

This is so abstract and fragmented but so organized at the same time. I didn't even notice it was fractal art at first. Love it!

I love the composition here. Unstable, yet balanced! It generates a lot of energy. Brilliant.

Did you use Inside coloring? I also like the Julia Tent for it's center focus. π²

No outside or inside coloring. Both were set to none. That's what makes this piece so unique in my mind.Β

When no coloring algorithm is specified, Ultra Fractal uses its default: #numiter /100.

I knew it had to apply something to the formula. I just didn't know it what it was. It's still not much.Β
