I have swallowed many toxic things in my life. Feelings is one of those things that destroy you faster than raw meat. It twills inside of you. This image is a description of how it feels to swallow your feelings. As the middle circle, the feelings, travel down the esophagus leaving behind it's poison along the way, the green swirls. I choose the color blue because normally when I need to swallow my feelings is when I am calm, and sometimes sadness. I choose green and red because the green represents the poisonous nature of swallowing the feelings and the red is normally my anger to something. Notice it's dark red because my anger is always attached to a negative or poisonous thought. The two swirls on the side of the bubble are the muscles it takes to swallow the emotions because even though it's a mental act, your body has to play it out. I hope you like this piece. I have had to swallow my emotions a lot these past 7 years.
