Nice graphic art. I don't really have much experience with this kind of stuff. The color scheme doesn't work for me. maybe more of a complimentary color scheme would give it more punch. Complimentary meaning opposites on the color wheel (you probably knew what complimentary meant).

it's weird. my initial color combo for this cover was green and pink (more like what you are talking about), and i had some people i greatly respect (professional comic book colorists) tell me to put together a more analogous color scheme.
i suppose you can't please everybody all the time!
