I know vamps could bite anywhere for blood, but does that work for turning into a vampire, or does that have to be the neck specifically? I ask because there are times where Vampires just suck you close to death, but you're still human, and then there are small bites and you become a vampire.

It depends on the type of Vampire. In most stories any bite will do so if untreated in others there has to be a process like how in Buffy first the vampire drinks, then feeds there blood to the victim.Β
