This is a face and body reference for Tim. He is a Golurk gijinka.The comic: Meta-Evolution - Prologue: The Pokemon People
Mystery project = comic. Tim will be a protagonist.
So yeah, references for consistency, if I were to try to draw these characters again without reference they would turn out completely different.

thank you, there's a reason why some designs borrow more from the Pokemon they're based on than others, and it was hard for me to figure out how to interpret this one.
