Hello folks! Another YOTL update over here.These are some of the early monster concept designs done right before I moved so...about September last year.
I am trying to focus on designing villains that are believable yet fresh..monsters that come with some kind of trade mark visual.
When I design these it is important that I can picture them in a scene with the sound design that is oppressive beyond belief.
Every time I finish a design I get this urge to do a series of sequence shots to illustrate the exact picture I have in my head, like
how they show up, how they attack etc..and imagine adding righteous sound to it! I get sooo excited!!
Well it is healthy to have a hobby and this is it for me. I know it is a silly and immature thing to say but
I just wish I was rich so I can go to Cancun and work on YEAR OF THE LADYBUG for an entire month

I love these! (I think I saw a glimpse on the site) what unique monsters. The antler sister and flash heads will be really easy to make slight changes between multiple creatures for variation. My one concern is with the Pretty Nomo-San, it's a very unique clothing style and one that is not super common, how do you plan to ensure enough variation that it doesn't look like you are fighting the same creature again and again? Or is she a one-time NPC? Forgive my total gamer nerd obsession
