Ultimately came out OK; has most of the motion I wanted and the muscle-work comes across pretty well, I think. It a;so seems a little muddled to me, somewhere in the colors, but ah well.

Thanks a lot! And yes, Ed is one of the small handful of artists I spent years directly emulating. Love his distinct command of muscles. I consider him a major influence.
