I waited for another moment before replying, the ttruth was i wasnt thinking at all, i hadnt since i first found Cherry in that alleyway. I sat up a little and looked across the glow of the city.

I wonder if I'll miss that place...?

Drakell let out a little laugh, 'what the fact we had a roof over our head, and we had jobs... or the fighting for your life every few days?'

'...None of that, not really. i miss Zack already.' the man was like a father to me, and all I had to remind me of him was his gun, a fitting memento of his violent life.

Drakell looked back at the van, 'What a difference a day makes' she said to herself. Cherry was asleep in the van, her elven side much more comfartable around nature. Yarron was sat in the drivers seat attempting a wireless Net connection, which he was haveing no luck with at all and Htoru was sat there kind of keeping him company.

I held out the disk that Zack had given me, its contents still a mystery 'Zack died for whatevers on this, and i dont evn know what to do with it...'

why not? was the first thought i had... ' i took another moment and looked at the sky... and i know how corny it sounds but i saw a flash of light i lowered my darkglasses and realised it was a shooting star, i never usually make wishes but this time i did...
I closed my eyes and that wish has stayed with me to this very day, 'it doesnt matter wher we go, we have what we need right here.' it didnt wanna think ahead, everything seemed to be lost behind me somewhere in my past, i even had a family once.
'We've got nowhere to go, but we'll leave in the morning and maybe we'll find somewhere.' maybe we wont, I added in my head.

at that moment i lied back on my jacket the was sufficing as a pillow. Drakell leant back next to me and things were perfect, well until Yarrons Cursing at 'The bloody net connection, dammit' i just closed my eyes and for once my mind was clear.
