My final version of the Polaris (but then again, who knows...). This is the Polaris for the so-called Lost Era, the one between TOS/TMP and TNG. She is a Nestor class starship, the light cruiser variant of the Excelsior class.

This mesh was a bitch to build. It took more time than the Nehelania class because I had to completely re-think the Polaris layout so that it would work with the Excelsior design. I re-modelled the nacelles three times: the Excelsior nacelles were too long, the Oberth ones were too small, so I built the ones seen on an Excelsior study model.

So, now we have a Polaris for all eras. Yeahh!!!
