Wow that's a heck of a collision. I honestly haven't seen much Star Trek art here, so this is even more extra special to me. I think you did an awesome job.

That's basically what the Enterprise did, too - but the Tholians were still able to get off a distress call. The Klingons may think they've won...until more Tholians arrive to ensnare them in an inescapable web of destruction!!
Cool pic, you should do a TOS version just for kicks.

I had no time for further meshing of the Papal class. My Trek HDD suffered a crash, I was able to retrieve all 17 GBs of file but everything is still chaotic. I am buying a new HDD as soon as I can (that is, I'll go to the local computer shop and ask the owner to get me one and install it when he gets it), but I do not think that I'll be able to do meshing till I sort out all files from backups and retrieve the rest from the crashed HDD.
Two things:
- Have you recieved the FJ diagrams? They are not complete, this was what I was able to save from the cradhed HDD.
- Can I make the ship the USS John Paul II? I don't like the Adolf dude but I respected JPII really much.

Aw, that's a shame. I'm sorry to hear about your crash - that's horrible!! I don't think I'D be able to recover from something like that.
I never got the FJ diagrams in my email, but if you're referring to the deck-by-deck blueprints, I have those in paper form. I can scan-n-send those to you, if that's what you're after.
One thing, though - my ship isn't the S.S. John Paul II. Mine is the Benedict XVI, and I was hoping I'd be able to see it in 3D form. I'm kind of sad that just a word is preventing you from modelling it - it doesn't change anything about the design, it's just a label you'd be slapping on the hull. A word is a word - the only thing it changes is whether or not it's the ship of your buddy who built an entire TOS set replica (more accurate than the one in "In a Mirror, Darkly") to go along with it.

Well, lol... Church in general is something you can see me run away from. Fast. Although I live in England now, I am originally German and Ratzinger is more a figure to be laughed at there, too, from what I'm told. Aside his past, if someone can straight faced say (was it in 2006?) that he has abolished the purgatorium the only thing you can really do is shake your head and laugh, because it's just a total joke... but oh well...
