Description
Sorry for the long delay, I was busy with building a fourth version of by beloved little starship.Modifications to the V3 model:
- re-cut windows (right size and layout)
- new neck
- new "spine" for the impulse engine
- new lower sensor dome
- complete re-texture
The Kzinti are out there, threatening Humankind. But the Polaris is always on the frontlines of Terra to fight for Human freedom!

What is she Dave a frigate? she looks a little too small to be a cruiser. Nice to see you've returned to your "original" ships again. Its always good to take what we learned back to earlier projects if nothing else just to see if we can't improve on small detail levels. I know that I've been doing that alot recently with my 3DS Max work. The hayday for me using max was back when kinetix owned it 3 - 3.5 so since I've had to refresh and upgrade this last year my max skills to teach I've been revisiting some of my early monstrosities using better techiques and tools.

She is a light cruiser, as according to my guidelines:
- Heavy cruiser: Saucer + big sec hull + upward nacelles (Connie)
- Medium cruiser: Saucer + integrated sec hull + downward nacelles (Miranda)
- Light cruiser: Saucer + small sec hull + downward nacelles (Pallada)
- Destroyer/Scout: Saucer + nacelle, sans sec hull
