Great piece Dave. Interesting to see that the Vulcan ship looks virtually the same in this time period, as it does in the 2150's when the NX class is around. Have you ever done a picture of the Vulcan ship from first contact? It was pretty dark in that scene, so we couldn't see it clearly.

I think that Vulcans do keep their traditional designs, like the Klingons: if there is a good Warp geometry, they leave it as it is, with only internal systems upgrades.

Good point about the warp geometry, shame we never got to see more Vulcan ships in the TNG era series. Do you know of anyone that does have that mesh?

I don't like ENT Vulcans too. Maybe it was the reason why in my fan novels (corssovers), the Earth Stellar Navy fought a major war with them. And won!
