I've always been a big fan of the Dreadnought. It's a beautiful thing. Then again, I've always believed that all the Franz Joseph stuff should be canon.

The Dreadnought was one of those non-cannon ships that always amazed me. It would've been awesome if they would've included at least one in the remastered original series. I know they made a lot of appearances in the Starfleet command video game series. I played all of those.

There are several maps + skins but there are 2 mods that I know of that has a story... or "story", this Virtual Dreadnought, and one that is based off an episode called "The Argas Effect". It is an AWESOME mod. You play as Kirk and the entire Enterprise crew is dead, only you alive...!

I love the dreadnought from the Original Series. And, I've loved flying them in many a game of Star Fleet Battles--well, after the upgrade, anyway--before the upgrade, it was the best cruiser in space.

It was not an easy one to build. I had to remodell the neck four or five times and the engineering hull two times.
