there is nothing realwe are used to seeing what isn't there
it is dictated by communication
we learn what to see
a common sense
void of dreams
without hope
it is easy
in the cold light of day
but there is a process
of taking away
the common ground
layer by layer
we can observe
enthralled
and say nothing
in our mind's eye we know
it wouldn't make great television
and it would never sell
unless we sold out
