how can there be a fear of the unknownunless it is a fear that someone, something
knows more about you than you do of it
something watching, lurking
but these are mostly tricks of the imagination
aren't they?
is the fear in the eyes of the one who watches?
or the one who is being watched?
and are we not both of these things...
the subject and the observer?
