I love this work! But, I've got to ask; US Firefighting trucks and English signs, but a BTR, and soldiers with AKs? What's the idea behind tht? c:

Could be fun to try and spin a story that explains this! Perhaps, this happened in the middle of a war? (I'm certain that the US would rather bomb its own soil than accept UN units in their nation, let alone Russians!)

Oh yea, there's a lot of interesting places you could go with the idea! I'm probably going to leave it be for a while Β though. As I am trying to focus on more design heavy stuff atm.

Very nice use of light. The soft frame of darkness that surrounds the scene gives the impression that something sinister is enveloping the zone, very much suitable to the theme and effective at achieving the atmosphere of isolation. The light that is present is far behind the figures and vehicles, giving a sense of leaving safety and doom in order to enter the quarantine. It also reveals several tanks and military equipment and the exquisite detail on them and the buildings, all supported by a gloomy colour scheme. Awesome work!

No problem! Well, both pieces revolve around the authority-like figures rolling out somberly into an area with the light far behind them and darkness well enveloping the seen, shrouded in a distinct atmosphere of impending trouble, tension and unknown.
Perhaps a scene based around medical service units coming into a setting of some sorts, such as an army outpost, car crash or a tragic incident? I dunno, I feel like this piece escalated on the previous ones in terms of seriousness in the theme, and is significantly more somber. Continuing this curve would be awesome.

Quick question, have you been watching FZD School videos? Because this sort of reminds of the drawings that Feng would usually do.

I used to watch those ages ago, like 3 or 4 years ago. Feng's a cool dude!Β
