Apart from being a fantastic piece of art it's actually quite funny...and it does take me back

Thanks - I'm well past the age of rebellion myself! I was actually quite well-behaved as a teenager, but I'm becoming more of a cynical non-conformist with age. I think the older you get the more you realize that the only true authority you have to answer to is yourself, although that brings a certain responsibility with it too. There is definitely a humorous side to a lot of my work, but sometimes people miss it - anyway, glad you like it!

Hahaha, what an amazing concept! Very cool idea.
Once again, it's stunning you mix modern topics with optic details of the late middle ages and renaissance.

Thanks again. The idea for this one seemed to emerge from nowhere - I must have an anarchistic streak somewhere in my subconscious! As ever there are a few random touches thrown in for good measure (I'm not sure what the roast chicken signifies!)

Good to know, I wasn't sure about the roast chicken anyway, haha. But even Jheronimus van Aken himself will probably have added a few items and aspects to his paintings without being too sure about what they were to represent. Otherwise it would have been much easier to study his works all along.
