It was a quiet evening. The lighting in the room was dark as the TV was the only source of light. The room was occupied by two people. Each on the couch. One male and the other female. The females name was Anna. She wore a dark blue top with bright blue shorts. She sat on the couch cross legged eating popcorn out of a bowl. The males name was Andy. He wore a t-shirt of his favorite band with pajama bottoms covered in lizards. He sat laid back on the couch. Both feet on the ground. He was playing a multiplayer racing game on the TV. He was currently in first and very focused on the game. It had required a lot of skill getting there after he was thrown off the track. He was close to the end of the track. “You’re gonna lose.” Anna said tauntingly. Andy just scoffed at her. There was no way. Second place was a mile behind him. “You wanna bet?” He finally said in response. He took a turn and the finish line was on the horizon. “Sure” Anna said before leaping at him. She took his mouth in hers and wrapped her hands around her, Andy’s first instinct was to unblock his view from the game before dropping the controller and returning her kiss. The kissed for a good while. They both focused on each other. Felt the others breath, their skin, the sound of the others heartbeat. One the screen flashed “Last Place” But neither cared. They had each other.
