a draft engagement invite for two of my best friends... I haven't yet run the design by Bek - hope she likes it! Any critiquing ('specially from ladies

Its rather pink.
In fact it is about as feminine as it could possibly be. I guess the question is, do you want to follow wedding/engagement invite tradition or break from the pack and masculine it up a little bit to recognise that there is also a man getting married.
Combining their first initials into what is almost a logo for their union is a nice idea, but because of the different typeface, you have two completely different ampersands centred on the same page. I might try drawing that part out by hand, since it has the appearance of being on a different piece of paper, any way. I'd also think about replacing the P&R ampersand with a small love heart.
