I appreciate that! I'm sure the bird would too.

I'm kinda relieved I'm not the only person who takes photos of dead animals.
This is great. (:

Yeah... well I guess it's not endangered at least. If that helps...

I can't decide whether "That's a neat picture," or "Crud, he's holding a dead bird," is winning as the dominant reaction.
It is very pretty, but oh, germs.

Oh how tragic! I was going to say, how the hell did you manage to take that picture with it's eyes closed? Those little buggers blink really fast, I believe-
I really adore this, it just reminds me of when I saw a dead bird for the first time, shocked, upset but in total awe due to the peacefulness of it.

Really touching, the detail somehow gives the bird such human qualities. Reminds me of a baby, i think it's the link between the softness of a baby's skin and the soft texture of the feathers...
Either way, gorgeous capture.

You've captured this so perfectly
I'm in love with all the detail you can see in the bird's feathers =]

I have a slight obsession with birds. I used to actually draw them on my hands during class.
Poor bird!
Great picture.

Lol. I think animals are most peaceful when they're dead. Though it makes me sad, if I were to attempt an animal again, i'd wanna try it dead.
I actually wouldn't mind drawing that photo of that dead bird on your dA! I think it's beautiful!

I love how you can really see the texture on the feathers. You're pretty amazing, you know.
PS: I know another Davey... but he doesn't have a Keytar.

woah. this is cool. slightly morbid actually. It's weird that it's eye is closed. I never really thought of birds having eyelids, I guess I always assumed they had some kind of clear lid like an alligator or something. Actually now that I think about it that's a pretty dumb thing to assume, seeing as a bird isn't much like a reptile. Except for the eggs part. ANYWAYS I'm super-tired and ranting so what I really wanted to say was I like the muted colours, the way it's almost black and white but not quite. It gives the photos a nice soft tone. Oh, and one more thing- did the bird hit a window?

Hah, thanks. And I believe it did. Either that or a wall. Because I found it about two meters from the nearest window... Not sure.

Hmm, interesting. Maybe it was trying to walk/fly again. Ew. Cause I can't see a bird just flying into a wall, though that would be kinda hilarious.
Oh, on Sunday Andrew mentioned something about a photoshoot...

Is it dead or is your hand just so comfy it fell asleep? I assume by the title it's the former.
Nicely put together and nice tones here, shame about tweety
