The clinking of chains was one Luna still had to get used to, even if it was her third time around in this place. Canterlot State... even the name made her shiver, and not only because of the imposing towers and fences on the bus in. They couldn't escape this place, even working together, both her and her sister could not break this places enchantments. They had built this in the early years of their rule, it being a place of rehabilitation and imprisonment for ponies who would seek to do wrong against the realm. Their advisor of the time had come up with a fair idea however during the building of it, "What if either of you were the ones to go bad?" he had posited during a pre-planning meeting. The princesses had looked at each other and made a snap decision.

They had proceeded then to excuse themselves from the architecture portion and the ward planning portion, instead throwing their talents into building two very special horn inhibitors. Ones that, when put on, would siphon their magic making them unable to cast and place it into the wards around the prison, strengthening those around their own cells as well as the main ones. Then Nightmare Moon had happened and Luna has been placed on the moon, coming back after 1000 years to find the world changed.

But the prison... the prison was strong, almost sentient in a way, housing so much magic in it's stonework, she could feel it as they walked down the hall to their cells at the end, being forced into seperate cells so as not to try and break out she put her head in her still cuffed hands and sank down the wall, crying soft tears for her sins. And now, with 150 years of her imprisonment left, she would, along with her sister for subverting justice and vigilantism would spend their time in their cells, strengthening the wards, and paying for their wrongs.
