Growing up I use to love this cartoon! ( I know its more to it, actually an entire comic franchise)
I mean it was crazy how that potion would make everyone so strong except Obelix. ( who is always strong)
And how these gauls would beat the romans silly, who does not like to see romans get a good ass whoopin!
I only say that because the roman empire was the greatest of its time, its only natural to want to beat the best.

In French, the dog is called IdΓ©fix, but I don't know if he has an other name in english. Asterix and Obelix are very funny comics, you should read themΒ if you have the opportunity. ^^

I think that was the name in english too. I wish I could speak french, never could learn it in school. Idk english was always much simple to me. Because I know these comics are original in french, i saw some covers on the internet and it sure seem very nice!
