~Full View Please~Photographed May 2008 at Arrowhead Lakes in Pennsylvania's Pocono Mountains.
The lake had been drained so repairs could be done on the retention system. Arrowhead is one of many man-made lakes in the Poconos which accounts for all the tree stumps seen here.

It was empty like this for close to a year. 
I took this shot after crossing over the lake bed from the far side. Ninety percent of the bed was dry and solid with a few puddles. That is of course 'til I got to my side of the lake with the huge puddle you see here. Rather than go back I decided to wind my way around avoiding the wet spots 'til I was able to exit a little further up the shoreline. 
Next time I go out on that lake it will definitely be in a boat!
