Elements? I don't know, i never used it. Try just double clicking on the file and it might just load straight into your brushes

Make a black and white image of anything you want, then go to edit/ create brush preset. This makes a brush out of the image, then you can go to the brush menu and play with the settings till you're happy

I'm a digital scrapbooker and want to know if I can use your brushes for commercial purposes, as long as the brushes themselves are not distrubuted.
Thanks!

GIMP accepts almost all file types. If its .abr, it will accept it.

ummmm.. i don't know what the gimp is would i just have to convert them to a different file type?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
TheLevithorArts In reply to David-Holland [2006-01-18 14:38:49 +0000 UTC]
You dont?
Damn.
The Gimp is a free PS alturnative.
PS is better, but I prefer GIMP.
Heres the site ink [link]
I would also recomend getting info at Wikipedia.
The conversion I think is more complicated then changing a file extention.
I think.

If the file type is .abr, you need to get an abr viewer. Look on google. I use a program called paint.net is free and similiar to photoshop. The abr viewer will make the brushes a .png file and have a transperant background.
